Coupon Policy

What kinds of coupons do you accept?
Farm Boy accepts vendor coupons and in store coupons for Farm Boy™ private label products.

Do you offer store coupons? Where may I find them?
Yes, we offer store coupons. They can be found on our website, www.farmboy.ca and in our weekly flyer.

May I use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one item?
No, our store coupons are for exclusive Farm Boy™ private label items only.

Do you exclude any coupons? Ex: above $5 off, BOGO offers, coupons for free product?
No, we do not exclude specific coupons.

Do you accept Internet Printable Coupons? May I print them in black and white?
Yes, we accept internet printable coupons printed in colour or black and white.

Do you match competitor prices or take competitor coupons?
Farm Boy™ does not accept competitor coupons or offer price matching.

What is your policy on overage: when the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the product?
We do not have a policy on overage, as it rarely occurs.

If the coupon exceeds the item’s value do you adjust the price of the coupon down? Ex: $1.00 off coupon on $0.97 cent product.
Yes, if the coupon exceeds the item’s value we adjust the price of the coupon down.

Do you limit the number of coupons I may use per transaction?
For store coupons we do not limit the number of coupons per transaction, but we do require that the customer have one coupon per item. For vendor coupons, we encourage customers to follow the manufacturers instructions.

Do your employees understand “one coupon per purchase=one coupon per item”, not “one coupon per transaction”?
Yes, our employees understand “one coupon per purchase=one coupon per item”

Does your store ever double or triple coupons?
No, we do not double or triple coupons.

Concerning buy one get one offers. If your store runs a BOGO FREE promo, may I use 2 manufacturer coupons for the 2 products? Or may I only use one?
This is not applicable to Farm Boy™. We do not have buy one get one offers.

Are individual stores allowed to impose their own rules or vary from this policy?
No. It is the responsibility of the cashier to read the terms of the coupon and apply it accordingly.
