Why Stockpile?

Why Stockpile?

The reason we stockpile is because when we get items for free or really cheap it means we don’t have to keep buying that item for 6 months or a year and it saves us money on our weekly grocery shopping.

For example, let’s break down what we’ll save when buying some common items:
20 jugs of laundry detergent pay $.50 a jug = $10
Reg cost for 20 = $100. Savings $90
10 boxes of Bounce pay $1.50 a box = $15.00
Reg cost for 10 = $49.70. Savings $34.70
30 boxes Barilla pasta pay $.23 a box = $6.90
Reg cost for 30 = $56.40. Savings $49.50
12 jugs Tidy Cats pay $3.99 a jug = $47.88
Reg cost for 12 = $95.64. Savings $47.76
12 Bottles of Vim pay $.50 a bottle = $6.00
Reg cost for 12 Vim $47.76. Savings $41.76
You can save $263.72 by buying just those 5 items on sale and with coupons.
The regular cost of those items is $349.50
To buy those 84 items will cost $85.78.
If you’re not currently doing this, then you should be to save the most you can every week.
That means that you also don’t have to shop for those items every week or every month. The same goes for a lot of other items.
Collect coupons, wait for the best sale, and stock up. Save a lot by stockpiling and shopping in your stockpile rather than paying full price at the last minute when you need something.
