Being Brand Flexible
One major learning lesson through couponing is that one way to save money is to be flexible with which brands you buy. Holding out for a coupon on your favourite brand, which may never come, versus trying a different brand that has a great coupon can really pay off!
Some of the great samples we get from Samplesource allow us to try different products and they also send coupons for some products.
This is perfect opportunity to try new products. Sometimes you get settled with a product and don’t even bother trying other brands because there is a comfort level with a tried and true product.
But, there are so many brands out now that the choices are limitless when shopping. It never hurts to try a new product especially when you have a coupon, or cash back offer and can get that product for free or close to free.
It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new.
I was also a Kraft peanut butter fan, but I’ve eaten a lot of Jif over the past few years due to couponing and I’m now happy with either!
